HUGE Breyer model horse sale!
Hello there!

When I was younger, I was really into collecting Breyers, but as time went on (particularly when I moved to a house with less shelves), that interest faded. Since the Big Move, my 100+ head of model horses has been sitting in boxes in my garage, waiting to be dusted off.

Well, they're dusted off now, but I unfortunately still have no where to keep them and, since I'd like to go to be able to pay for college (or a real horse?!), I thought it would be better to put all the ones I could part with up for sale in mostly small lots on eBay.

All the starting prices for the auctions are crazy low, with (I think) reasonable Buy It Now prices. While most of the models are pretty common, I have a few up that were limited edition or some sort of special.

So! I invite you all to please take a look at my 30+ lots of model horses and perhaps find two or twenty for yourself, or someone like you.

Ebay liars
I hate it when people lie about thier products.

Advertised as a one of a kind Breyer model

OOAK? O really?

I dont think so

her reply to my polite pointing out that it surely wasnt OOAK and was avalable on several websites.

Dear savaaha,

I bought this as an OOAK breyer from an artist, it is accurate.

Phoenix update!

"Phoenix" is a Sarah Minkiewicz-Breuning Tango resin repaint... Or I should say I got him as a raw casting and painted him but yeah XD. He's about 5.75" tall which classifies him either as a paddock pal or a small classic sized resin. But at his diminutive height he packs a WALLOP with personality and allure. This resin is one of the most beautiful on the planet. Phoenix is about 98% finished, just needing his mane, tail, and a few places ticked out and finished up before he's ready to be signed, sprayed, and varnished to be sent to his new home in Australia.

Done in Acrylic paints/inks, colored pencils, and soft/hard pastels he's a super lively super high sabino sorrel and white Tovero mustang stallion with extreme detail.

A full show photo shoot will be done of this stallion once he's finished and ready to fly down under to compete there. I'll take the liberty of entering him in 3 photoshows for his new owners to see how he competes on the PSQ circuit, but I consider him 100% TOP LSQ and a HUGE contender in the color ring as well as a few others! He COULD be shown as a Brumby, however I don't think I've ever seen one quite so flashy!

I love him, he's one of my most favorites.

Completing him opens my painting commission books which I hope to fill relatively quickly even though I have so many resculpting projects to finish including one rather large resculpting commission and a large personal resculpting projects I'm working on my self.

BUT! they will all get done!

More photos of Phoenix;

"Ms Dangerous Bandit"

The finished product of my Peter Stone Western Pleasure Horse overhaul. Now a mare and a portrait model of my own performance horse, she's boasting a wild Black and White Sabino Tovero pattern. Done in a veriety of pastels, colored pencils, inks, oils, and acrylics and finished off with 4 layers of Matte spray and a handsome coat of varnish to all the right places, this mare will be seen in Photo and Liveshow line ups near you :)

Better photos coming soon. Curse Florida's bright sunlight and my Canon's tiny photo setting I forgot to tamper with before shooting. All in all? I'm SUPER proud of her!

Now all I need to do is find tack to fit this pretty lady and order her shoes from Rio Rondo! YAY!

More pictures behind the cut.

my latest WIP

Phoenix is a Sarah Mink "Tango" resin being redone to a high sabino factor sorrel Tovero. He's about 86% of the way done and the photo is crappy, I know.. I'm sorry. But this horse is lovely & I promise updates once he's done!

This horse was a commission. He's done in pastels, oils, and acrylics with colored pencil accents tossed into his mane and tail (will show when finished).

He's off to Australia once he's completed to take on the circuits there for his proud new owners.

greetings & salutations!
I just joined this community after being shown it by a member of another Equine related LJ community commented on one of my posts saying you guys would probably appreciate my work. I'm a CM artist who takes on Stones, Breyers, Artist Resins and even damaged mail order resins to spruce them up and send them off to new homes or to keep on my private show string. I currently have ELEVEN projects lining my shelves in wait of being finished, including my current sales project which I'm including photos of behind the cut as well as info about him as he is a WIP & a pretty drastic custom.

But yeah... My name is Tia. I ride horses, I own a spicy little paint mare named Jezebel. I like pie. My favorite color is blue. My favorite natural "Earth" color is bronze or sage. My favorite horse color is bay roan. I loooove painting :) And yes... Sleep is god.

Favorite tool of the trade; APOXIE SCULPT!!!!!!!!!!!
Favorite model; BOUNCER!
Favorite Horse breed; AMERICAN PAINT!
Second Fave; haha... Australian Stock Horse

ok enough... Now onto what you guys have REALLY wanted to see lol!

Want a Limited Edition Horse to Live Show? >:)
We need to repay the awesome folks who rescued our real-life horse, "Baby"- and so we are selling some of the best models we've ever shown at live shows... the real winners.

Here is a 3B Deakon by Peter Stone which is #414 of 500, and has taken Junior Champion Draft Stallion and then Reserve Champion for All Drafters at one of the biggest live shows in the pacific northwest... he's just awesome.

He comes with two of his ribbons, his original certificate (proof of his limited edition status and manufacture date) and in his original box.

We're asking 45.00 and can ship for the exact cost, or you can take a chance on winning him for less on ebay, as he is listed as item number: 130069435272 - you can also search for "deakon" or the user "equine-artist".

I also have other models for sale- and many more not listed on ebay. All of the ones we're selling are winners at Live show, or have won in picture shows and come with their pictures and 'pedigrees'. :) The models that are defective in any way are being saved up for horrible sculptural experiments-- ER *cough* Remaking. Yes. Refurbishing.

My Friend Flika Movie Discussion
Is it just me, or does this movie sound different from the book? From what I've heard from the commercials, it's only like the book in that it involves horses, and the name of that particular horse. *Shrug* Who knows? It's horses and Tim McGraw in one movie. I guess I should just shut up and be happy, but I feel that they're not really doing Margureite (sp?) Henry any justice here. ((Someone please tell me if the movie's not based on the book so I can know if my obsessing is completely useless.))

Also, feel free to post if you've seen anything Breyer about this movie!
